2017 Acura RLX Hybrid

The RLX from Acura is a top of the line sedan that is consistently improving with every model year. All things considered, the 2017 Acura RLX Hybrid is set to proceed with this standard and trend particularly given that early reports contend that the sedan will offer car purchasers with a six barrel power unit that is fit for delivering an impressive output. The sedan will likewise convey buyers with luxurious elements that will upgrade the general riding experience for both the driver and their passengers. There are various industry insiders that solidly contend this offering of the sedan will be the most well-known Acura of the upcoming model year. A few components of these car makers which Acura frequently neglects to contend with are AWD configurations for sedans, their unstoppable record of performance and obviously their image esteem. The new upcoming generation from Acura, which is the 2017 Acura RLX Hybrid, might endeavor to challenge this still unbroken norm.

2017 Acura RLX Hybrid – New Interior and Exterior Design

2017 Acura RLX Hybrid will be based on another stage, and it’s going to witness an all-new utilization of metal sheets of light weight. Its chassis has been updated, and the grille reshaped, bearing Acura’s logo conspicuously in its midst. The lighting innovation is advanced too, headlamps utilizing LED tech and mist lights being available alongside them. The body of this auto looks slim, its wheels supplementing its persona. A substantial number of new components will be consolidated in this auto, some of which are driver assistance innovations, better security systems, improved fuel economy, more responsive infotainment system and an altogether upgraded interior.

The interior of this model has been completely refurnished, giving a stunningly exquisite appearance to the auto alongside highly coveted extravagant elements. There are leatherette trim seats that would easily accommodate five grown-up passengers. Going to the safety components extended by this auto, there is not any element that the purchaser of a luxury sedan can seek after which is not present in this auto. This model takes care of each need of the driver with safety systems like Blind spot monitoring system, path departure ready, back perspective camera, back cross movement monitor. A remarkable element that this auto is going to have would offer it some assistance with remaining in the right path: it’s a mitigation system that can detect painted lines isolating two paths from each other. This system is in this manner going to extend braking and also steering assistance.

2017 Acura RLX Hybrid – Engine Specs

  • 3.5 L V6,
  • 310 HP
  • 372 pound-feet of torque
  • Fuel economy ranges from 28 mpg in the city to 32 mpg on highway and 30 mpg joined.

2016 Chevrolet Spark

Spark has been produced for almost 20 years now, and during these couple of decades it has undergone a few design changes. Moreover, Chevy’s smallest car has been marketed globally and under vast number of nameplates and badges alike.

Even though Chevrolet is quickly abandoning European market, at least when electric cars and hybrids are concerned, U.S. market still remains profitable for subcompact city cars with all-electric range. 2016 Chevrolet Spark EV will, thus carry over and continue with its electric motor and large, 21 kWh battery pack. There are also reports about significant upgrades to battery pack that would allow this vehicle to be driven on one charge for about 200 miles, similar like recently presented Bolt model.

Specs

  • 130 hp
  • 400 lb-ft of torque
  • 60 mph in less than 9 seconds.

Moreover, saying that it is fun to drive around the city would be an understatement as the car is able to pace through the traffic on par with much more prolific competitors. There are no needs for Chevy to change power output since it is more than enough for a small car like this one.

2016 Chevrolet Spark EV Review

From exterior’s standpoint, 2016 Chevrolet Spark EV will be slightly different, but not to extent where it becomes unrecognizable. Front end fascia will keep GM’s trademark layout, and Chevrolet’s electric vehicle covered grille as well, but grille itself will be resized. Same thing goes for headlamps which should offer more conservative look; read, they’ll be smaller. Still, Spark will keep its neat and tidy hatchback body with upswept front and sharply cut rear end. Finally, next-gen Spark’s rear end will be slightly reworked as well, but apart from new tail-lights and different layout, don’t expect anything more.

Interior

On the inside, Spark EV won’t offer anything out of the ordinary. It differs from its conventional sibling in many ways and most of these are color arrangements. However, electric version of this commuter also offers some distinctive features of its own, just like it does on the outside. Most notably, it has different gauge display, vividly colored and able to offer relevant info about battery status and range left. Since EV is positioned high in Spark’s hierarchy, it also benefits from instrument panel display which serves as infotainment interface and offers additional navigation. However, navigation doesn’t include charging stations on the map which would be great. Still, 2016 Chevrolet Spark EV offers something that other cars in its class don’t. For instance, it has 10 standard airbags and all other mandatory safety features, but it lacks even basic advanced ones.

Range Of 2016 Chevrolet Spark EV

Electric Spark offers some of the best fuel efficiency U.S. market has. It is rated at 119 mpg equivalent and gives you around 80 miles of all-electric range in current form and this version should offer at least a slight increase in range and not to mention possible jump to 200 miles. With fast charging it is possible to reach about 80 percent of charge on currently available model and with larger battery packed in new car we expect that this will be possible in about 30 minutes after which you will have much more range.

The 2016 Chevrolet Spark EV is still one of the best options if you require a city commuter with solid all-electric range and low consumption. It is affordable and feels like one too, but still does its job in quality manner. With upgrades that will be offered with either 2016 or 2017 model it will become much more usable even for those drivers that need it for slightly longer trips.

Why You Should Buying a Used Green Hybrid Car

Given the newness of green hybrid electric cars, you might not think it's easy to find a used one for sale. They are out there, though. Many people who are financially fortunate enough to be able to do so tend to swap out cars every 2 or 3 years so that they're never faced with a car that needs repair, and apparently some still do this with the new hybrid cars. Look around in your local paper and weekly sales papers like penny savers or that type of local swap and sell publication. You can also search online for used green hybrid cars in your area, and you can look at dealerships for used green hybrid cars.

The big benefit of purchasing a used green hybrid electric car is the price. Some new hybrid cars are high-priced enough to make it unlikely the average American consumer will ever own one. If you can find a high-priced used green hybrid vehicle that's used, you'll pay much less to drive an environmentally friendly car.

While some green hybrid cars like the Prius are priced in a more moderate range, a used one will still cost less and so it's easier for most families to own. It's also even more environmentally friendly than purchasing a new green hybrid car. A certain amount of energy goes into the production of a hybrid vehicle, and that requires a certain amount of fuel and, let's face it, pollution. Rather than purchasing a new car with that “carbon debt” that has to be paid off, when you purchase a used green hybrid electric car, you're inheriting a carbon debt that's already partially paid. The same holds true for purchasing any vehicle—it's always greener to go used that new.

You'll need to use the same common sense when searching for used green hybrid car that you use when looking for any kind of used car. Find out about who owned it before, the car's history, and why the owner wants to sell it. Have it checked out by a mechanic—one familiar with hybrid car technology.

The advantage of purchasing a used green hybrid car from a dealership is that there may be a warranty attached that you won't get from a private seller. Just because you purchase from a dealership, though, you're not guaranteed that there won't be problems, or that you're getting an honest deal. But the likelihood of problems is usually reduced. A private seller just wants to sell a car, but a dealership selling used green hybrid electric cars consider, and will do what they can to protect that reputation to ensure future business.

Also, do some research. You might end up deciding to buy a new model if the first generation model had some significant drawbacks, for instance. Or you could decide to wait, if it turns out the manufacturer is about to unveil a new green hybrid electric car that seems far superior to the used one you're considering.
